Bolton News Lockdown Heroes Awards 2021

The annual Bolton and Bury Business Awards was a little bit different this year. Rather than celebrating local businesses, the newspaper decided that it would be a good opportunity to celebrate our community heroes who went above and beyond during the pandemic in 2020.

Stateside Foods’ Greater Manchester Careers and Enterprise Adviser, Heather Middlehurst took part in a virtual Greater Manchester careers event working in partnership with Bridge GM and The Careers and Enterprise Company.

Joy for St James CE School Pupils

Pupils at St James Primary School were saddened to see that their school Reading Garden had been attacked by vandals over the Spring half-term.

Tree Planting with the Woodland Trust

Stateside Foods joined with the Bolton Family members, to work with the Woodland Trust, helping to plant 17,000 trees at the local Smithills Estate.
