We have an opportunity within our Firebird/NLC Department for a Warehouse Operative working Monday to Friday 22.00 to 06.00.

Key responsibilities:

• Adhere to the company’s H&S policies and procedures
• Understand and adhere to our Performance Management Systems and demonstrate Stateside Foods behavior’s
• Adhere to the company’s Hygiene policies and procedures
• Carry out good hygiene and housekeeping, ensure a clean as you go policy, all warehouse areas are kept to a high standard
• Ensure starts up checks are completed on forklift trucks each day
• Use the warehouse management system to perform daily duties
• Carry out your daily duties as per ISO work instructions
• Identify and inform Packing Service Line Leader of any day to day issues
• Drive the flexi and pedestrian trucks putting stock away in both Firebird and the NLC areas of work
• Report any racking or fabrication damage to Packing Service Line Leader immediately
• Carry out end of shift stock count when required
• Use SAP and warehouse processes to dispatch pallets
• Dispatch all pallets correctly as per logistics loading process
• Book in pallets and locate within racking
• Take full responsibility for all material/finished goods receipts and movements assigned to you.
• Book all deliveries into the system in a correct and timely manner
• Pick and supply all materials to the production line in a appropriate fashion, ensuring accurate information and correct stock rotation
• Return any material that is longer required to the correct designated area
• Perform any other task that is of a reasonable request in line with the Logistics department
• Warehouse operatives are expected to rotate roles as and when required in all areas of FB / NLC
• Any other reasonable requests
• Support and train colleagues where necessary
• Adhere to the company’s H&S policies and procedures
• Adhere to the company’s Hygiene policies and procedures.

Skills and Experience required:

• Experience of working within a Warehouse environment and/or a similar environment
• Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to standing for long periods within a chilled environment
