This year, we were proud to support the incredible work of GroceryAid by coming together as a team for a 24-hour rowing challenge for GroceryAid Day. Because GroceryAid is there 24/7- and so are we at Stateside Foods- we aimed to row as far as possible in 24 hours!
Thank you to our colleagues who took part in the GroceryAid Row —you collectively rowed an impressive 54km! Although we didn’t manage to fill all of the slots, it was the raising awareness that was important!
In recognition of our colleagues efforts, Stateside Foods made a £250 donation. As many of them discovered, rowing for 15 minutes is tougher than it looks!
The raffle to win the colourful “rainbow hamper,” packed with a selection of fresh fruit, vegetables, and cheese truckles was won by Dominique.
As well as fundraising, the event was to raise awareness of our industry charity and the services it provides, for ‘the help you’ve earned.’
