Leanne Jones- Pancreatic Cancer

Colleague Fundraising- Walking 100 Miles for Pancreatic Cancer

Leanne Jones (Packaging) has successfully completed her incredible challenge — walking 100 miles in memory of her dad and to raise awareness for Pancreatic Cancer UK, raising £1080 in the process.

Leanne’s mission was simple but powerful:

“To make more breakthroughs, MORE NOISE, and be MORE THAN HOPE.”

Pancreatic cancer is one of the deadliest forms of cancer, yet it receives only a fraction of the funding and attention given to other cancers. It’s the 5th biggest cancer killer in the UK, with over 10,000 people diagnosed each year — and tragically, more than half die within three months of diagnosis.

Early detection is rare. Symptoms such as back pain, indigestion, unexplained weight loss, or yellowing of the skin are often mistaken for less serious conditions. By the time pancreatic cancer is diagnosed, it is often too late for surgery, the only potential cure.

Through her walk, Leanne not only raised vital funds but also helped drive greater awareness.

Every step she took this November was for change, for awareness, and in loving memory of her dad. Well done Leanne!
