Bolton Hospice My Memories Walk

The annual Bolton Hospice ‘My Memories Walk’ took place on Saturday 16th September. People from all over Bolton, dressed in brightly coloured outfits and adorned with lights, gathered at Bolton Town Hall to begin a sponsored 8 mile walk in memory of their loved ones.

Colleagues from Stateside Foods: Heather Middlehurst, Oliver Goldthorp, Hilary Ward, Paula Nelson, Shauna Wilson and Sophie Ledwidge walked through the town centre, past Bolton Hospice and along Chorley New Road to Horwich, before walking back towards the town centre.

It was a heartening and uplifting atmosphere remembering loved ones and fundraising for the future of the hospice. Helping the hospice is a cause that has become all the more vital this year given the financial challenges it has faced and Stateside Foods were proud to sponsor this event.

The final figure raised from the walk has yet to be announced but we look forward to sharing this with you in the coming weeks. Our colleagues have also been taking part in the Bolton Hospice STEPtember challenge aiming to walk 10,000 steps a day. Donations for both events are still open until the end of September and Stateside Foods will match fund the donations to the value of £500.
