T20 Charity Cricket Match in aid of Bolton Hospice

The ‘T20 Stateside Cricket Match’ in aid of Bolton Hospice took place on Friday 11th August at Daisy Hill Cricket Club. It was a great evening- the lovely weather, BBQ and bar, made for an event the whole family could enjoy. Sadly, Team Stateside lost to the football/referee team who won with 2 overs to spare- Well done to the winning team! It was a great effort from both teams.

Most importantly, it was an event to raise money for Bolton Hospice which was a huge success. Just over £2000 was raised in total through player donations, raffle ticket sales, donations and a match funded donation from Stateside Foods. We know what a difference this will make to the Hospice, as we continue to fundraise in support of the vital services and care that they provide in our community.

Events like this couldn’t take place without the support of everyone involved. Many thanks to: Daisy Hill Cricket Club and Stuart Charters for hosting and supporting the match, the many local businesses who donated a raffle prize, our colleagues who donated, bought raffle tickets and played on the night and to our colleague Dennis Thomas who organised the event- a fantastic effort!
