Today we are celebrating GroceryAid day at Stateside Foods. On Thursday 4th May, three of our colleagues (Ben, Martin and Alex) took part in the Windermere Row. Rowing around 10 miles, the team of three were joined by Cam from the Co-op. They took to the water to raise awareness of the services that GroceryAid provides to all colleagues working in the grocery industry. Luckily, the weather was on their side and although it was challenging the team completed the row in good time.
To continue the fundraising, today we host a 24 hour rowing challenge. Beginning at 7am through to 7am on the 11th May, we invited our colleagues from all departments and shifts to take part by rowing for a minimum of 15 minutes to clock up as many KM as possible. For every KM rowed, Stateside Foods will donate to GroceryAid. We want to share with everyone that GroceryAid is #alwaysopen 24 hours, 7 days a week and as a site that runs 24 hours a day, we wanted to include everyone in this fundraising challenge! Well done to our colleagues who have volunteered and donated today!
