Fort Alice Easter

Supporting the Local Community

Fortalices Spring Treats

We were pleased to support Fortalice with their most recent campaign by donating 500 creme eggs! Each year Fortalice have a team of volunteers who carefully knit colourful characters to hold a chocolate treat which local businesses can then sell to raise vital funds. Once again we were pleased to donate and support this cause. Fortalice are a Bolton based charity supporting victims and their families of domestic abuse.

The Hub @ Westhoughton

We were keen to donate £250 towards ‘The Hub at Westhoughton’s’ Easter event taking place on Thursday 6th April. Each year they rely on kind donations to provide a free event for children in Westhoughton to attend. There will be a range of arts & crafts, food, drinks and activities for families to enjoy. Amy Battersby (CSR co-ordinator) went along to present the cheque which was gratefully received by Anna-Marie and David. We’re sure the event will once again be a great success!

Supporting Local Sporting Teams

We were very happy to receive a photograph from Hindley ARLFC U7’s Rugby team whose kit we have sponsored for this season -and to hear that they are doing brilliantly! We are always keen to support our next generation in sports such as rugby and football that encourage team work and improve fitness.

We have also recently supported Billinge Juniors Football club and The Thatto Heath Crusaders ARLFC by donating much needed equipment to their teams.
