Congratulations to our Employee of the Year winner Luke Worthington and Suggestion of the Year winner Marcin Jaskiewicz who were presented with a £500 cheque by Jon Lucas (Managing Director) at an awards breakfast on 28th March. They met with Jon Lucas and Operations Managers Stuart Cunliffe and Stuart Taylor before receiving their cheque.
Here’s what our nominee’s stated about Luke:
“I would like to nominate Luke because he is ‘EPIQ’ Luke is a valued member of the team, he is efficient in his role and very supportive of all colleagues. If we are struggling in the department, Luke steps up and covers multiple roles, From Team Leader, FLT Driving, cleaning, organising disposals and booking in goods. He has a can do attitude and always wants to do the best job possible, receiving good feedback from different colleagues throughout the business, on both his quality of work and attitude/ behaviours. He is a leading example for the rest of the team and communicates well, volunteering himself for the open forum committee. He is honest and always aims to carry out tasks to the required standard. Luke puts the business first. He is open, honest, and committed to his role. He will help all departments to the best of his ability, as he sees that we are all one team.”
We invite our colleagues to nominate an Employee of the Month who may have gone above and beyond in their role and welcome suggestions for improvements that would be beneficial to any working area of Stateside Foods. Each month a winner is announced and a gift is awarded for both categories. A yearly winner is then selected from all of the monthly winners.
