Well done to James Wilson (IT) and Shauna Wilson (Technical) who took on the THE BIG DIP on 18th February for ‘Team Stateside’. Led by Ryan Abbott, the founder of the Urban Ice Tribe community, over 50 participants donned their swimwear and headed to Leigh & Lowton Sailing Club. The event started with a breathing and coaching session, before they took the plunge into the icy Pennington Flash raising over £400 for Bolton Hospice. They both finally thawed out with a hot drink and a brownie– would they do it again? Of course they would! All for a fantastic cause!
