On Friday 21st October, Heather Middlehurst (CSR Manager) was proud to represent Stateside Foods at the Diversity and Inclusion in Grocery Event @ The O2 arena London. Heather spoke about the importance of a diverse and inclusive workplace and how we support and provide this to our workforce. She spoke about the fantastic success of the Endless Inclusion Hub and how working alongside the Co-Op has supported our journey.
The Diversity & Inclusion in Grocery (DIG) programme, is a fundraising initiative bringing together more than 77 industry Partners. Run by the industry for the industry, DIG exists to create a fully diverse and inclusive industry where everyone feels welcome. The D&I in Grocery event attracted 1500 guests and raised £750,000 – which will help Grocery Aid continue supporting colleagues 24/7.
