Keen golfers took to Bolton Golf Club on Thursday 21st July to play a game of 18 holes in support of Bolton Hospice. We were proud to sponsor this annual event and our colleagues Adam Boon, Stuart Williams, Chris Wilcox and Max Livesey went along as team Stateside to attempt to win the day. Unfortunately they weren’t successful but a great day was still had by all!
Bolton Hospice are pleased to share that a fantastic £10,385 was raised from the event.
They wrote to thank us for our generous sponsorship and to share that the money raised will go towards:
- improving the quality of care for someone facing a life limiting illness through attendance at weekly day therapy
- by providing care to those who wish to spend their final days at home from their Hospice at Home nurses
- by providing compassionate and dignified care in their inpatient unit for someone in their final days of life.
Next years hospice Golf Day will take place on 20th July 2023.
