Stateside Foods were very proud to be back sponsoring the 17th annual Bolton Food and Drink Festival over the four day August bank holiday weekend! The sun shone and nearly half a million people came to our town to enjoy the UK’s biggest food festival with lots of great food, drink, chef demonstrations and entertainment!
Our Stateside Foods marquee stood proudly on Victoria Square amongst 180 others around a bustling Bolton Town Centre offering cuisine from around the world. Our colleagues enjoyed sharing with our community everything Stateside- from our tasty pizza samples, balloons for the little ones and of course our famous pizza cutters amongst other treats in our free goody bags. We encouraged locals to find out more about our company by entering our competition to win an Ooni Pizza Oven whilst the younger members of the family could take on a pizza topping trail around the town to be in with a chance of winning a Nintendo Switch. We also shared with the community our current job vacancies as well as many of our employee benefits which come with being an employee of the Stateside team!
Bolton Councils Deputy leader Cllr Hilary Fairclough said: ‘This weekend proved yet again that nobody throws a party quite like Bolton.’ Sponsoring the Food Festival is one of our favourite events not only because the atmosphere on the square is brilliant- dancing and singing with our balloons and the many street performers, but because we can help to make it happen and give back to our community in these uncertain times. Many of the events taking place over the weekend were free, making it accessible to all visitors to our town.
