On Monday 6th June our team of apprentices accomplished their hike to the top of Scafell Pike in the Lake District. Scafell Pike is the highest and the most prominent mountain in England, at an elevation of 978 metres above sea level.
The hike was due to take place in March but was postponed due to bad weather conditions. The weather was definitely on their side this time and they reached the summit in 3 hours! The hike was completed as part of the “Apprentice Raise-a-thon” which took place back in December 2021.
A huge well done to our apprentices for organising and taking part in the events in aid of Bolton Hospice and to everyone who generously donated. The total raised from the Apprentice raise-a-thon was an amazing £2283!
